• Wake could put student enrollment caps on these 18 schools in 2026. See the list (newsobserver.com) — Families in Morrisville should know that Parkside Elementary may lose its enrollment cap and Cedar Fork Elementary is expected to keep its cap for the 2026-27 school year, affecting where new students can enroll. Wake County staff propose reducing the number of capped schools overall, while adding a new cap at Zebulon Elementary due to overcrowding. The school board will review these recommendations in early 2026.
