• Drug And Theft Crimes Land Gaston County Man In Prison After Conviction In Catawba County (whky.com) — A Mount Holly resident, 35-year-old Jonathan David Shamblin, has been sentenced to six to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to meth trafficking, fentanyl possession, and theft-related charges in Catawba County. The case stemmed from a 2023 traffic stop and a 2024 hotel parking lot theft in Hickory, with local law enforcement and prosecutors detailing substantial drug quantities and mandatory fines.
