• Obituary for Gary William Bowman of Sanford (sandhillssentinel.com) — Sanford is mourning the passing of 74-year-old Gary William Bowman, a lifelong local resident who died Friday at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 17, at 2 p.m. at Jonesboro Cemetery in Sanford, where family and friends can pay their respects to a man with deep roots in the community.
