• Dangerous intersection in Stallings transformed into safer area (wsoctv.com) — Drivers in Stallings will soon see long-awaited safety upgrades finished at the busy Potter Road and Pleasant Plains Road intersection, where new turn lanes and crosswalks are wrapping up this week. The NCDOT-prioritized project follows years of local advocacy and is expected to ease congestion and reduce crashes for the roughly 20,000 daily vehicles that pass through.
