2. Sklar Personal Care Inc. MARCS-CMS 716656 — December 09, 2025 (fda.gov) — A Statesville drug manufacturing plant, Sklar Personal Care Inc. (BOV Solutions) on E. Garner Bagnal Boulevard, has received an FDA warning letter for multiple quality-control and safety violations. Federal inspectors cited problems with raw material testing, equipment cleaning, process validation, and overall quality oversight, and warned the company to correct issues quickly or face possible regulatory action.

Traffic Stop Leads To Arrest Of Man On Multiple Charges (whky.com) — A Statesville man from Brick Yard Road was arrested after a weekend traffic stop near Hickory Highway led deputies to discover a handgun, ammunition, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in his car. Iredell County deputies say his license was revoked and he is a convicted felon, leading to multiple charges and a secured bond at the county detention center.

Guilty verdict in tragic drunk driving crash that killed father and two children (shorenewsnetwork.com) — A Statesville jury has convicted Austin Harmon in a deadly 2022 DWI crash that killed Michael Marlowe and his two children and seriously injured two other family members.
