• Dogs euthanized, owner arrested after pack kills Davidson County man (wbtv.com) — A Thomasville woman has been indicted on second-degree murder and multiple animal cruelty charges after deputies say her 17 dogs fatally mauled a 73-year-old man in Davidson County last month. All 17 pit bull-mix dogs were euthanized, and investigators allege they were kept in filthy, starving conditions without proper care. The woman is being held on a $500,000 bond with a court date set for early January.
