• Traffic alert for Wait Avenue Dec. 11-17 (wakeweekly.com) — Expect lane reductions and intermittent two-way traffic on Wait Avenue near Stone Park Drive and Mackie Park Drive from today, Dec. 11, through Dec. 17, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The Town of Wake Forest will have signage and flaggers in place, and you can track these and other closures in real time using the town’s online Traffic Alerts Map.
   

• Akin to graduates: ‘He will be with you every step of the way' • Biblical Recorder (brnow.org) — A recent commencement at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest honored 253 graduates from 28 states and 12 countries. President Danny Akin encouraged them with a Christ-centered message drawn from Isaiah, emphasizing guidance, protection, and peace as they head into ministry and other callings around the world.
