• AdventHealth to build 67-bed Weaverville hospital after legal delays with Mission Health (wlos.com) — Construction of a new 67-bed AdventHealth hospital in Weaverville can finally begin after the North Carolina Supreme Court declined to review Mission Health’s last appeal. The Weaverville facility, located along US 25/70 in North Buncombe, is expected to expand care for residents in Buncombe, Madison, Yancey, Graham and surrounding counties as the state considers additional bed approvals.
