Air Force: We Didn't Mean It, Santa Claus Is Real
The Air Force tweeted that if two bases couldn't get along, Santa would "bring you nothing this year because he isn't real!"

MINOT, ND — Santa Claus is real, the U.S. Air Force declared, and its tweet saying otherwise was simply a bluff, part of a threat to steal Christmas from two feuding bases in North Dakota and Missouri.
Minot Air Force Base and Whiteman Air Force Base engaged in a war of words on Twitter over which fleet was better. The official Air Force account responded that if the bases couldn't get along, Santa would "bring you nothing this year because he isn't real!", KFGO radio reported.
The tweet garnered widespread ridicule and the Air Force later reversed course, declaring Santa "is real" and that the previous message was just an attempt to get the bases "in line."

The Air Force stressed its North American Aerospace Defense Command tracks Santa's Christmas Eve sleigh travels using satellites, radar and jets.
We think people on the receiving end of #B2 combat #airpower would agree with this. Also, Santa is real! @NoradNorthcom tracks him. pic.twitter.com/ccpCe3mwNF
