APS : We're Developing Thoughtful Leaders

Our high school scholar-athletes brought their ideas and communication skills to the administration building to help create a better future at APS. This is the second Symposium on Leadership this school year where our athletes have come together to brainstorm and inquire.

These leaders will be reporting back to their schools on topics ranging from leadership to violence in the community and in schools. We listened in on any number of thoughtful and productive conversations with building principals in the first symposium in November. Much of that dialogue made its way to us in the form of a strong student perspective on how our schools can be improved and stay safe.
