AVON, OH — Certain stores are forever connected to our memories of our hometown. That makes it all the sadder, that over the decades, some of our favorite shopping spots have come and gone.
Recently, Patch asked our Avon and Avon Lake readers to share their memories of bygone local businesses and which stores they wish they could bring back. Specifically, we asked, "If you could bring back one local business that closed in town (it doesn't matter how long ago), which would it be?"
We received nearly 25 responses on Facebook. While we won't list them all, we are sharing five of the most-mentioned businesses.
