5 Gunshots Fired During Brawl At House Party In Avon Lake: Police
A fight at a house party on Lear Road spilled outside and escalated until five gunshots were fired.
AVON LAKE, OH — Five shots were fired during a fight at a house party in Avon Lake on Saturday, police announced.
At 12:24 a.m., police were sent to a home on Lear Road after callers reported hearing gunshots in the area. The first officer on the scene arrived at the house in less than 1 minute.
Investigators learned there had been a fight inside the house party. The fight spilled outside and into the parking lot of the bar across the street. Patrons from the bar then became embroiled in the brawl, according to police.

Someone then pulled out a handgun and fired five shots. The gunshots caused nearly everyone to scatter, police said. No one was hit by a bullet.
However, an 18-year-old man was hurt during the fight. He was driven to the emergency room by his parents, police said.
