5 Things Avon Can't Go Without

1. Caffeine. From to to the new (complete with drive-thru), Avon rivals the Gilmore Girls in our love of coffee.
2. Embracing our heritage. While the city is growing by leaps and bounds, there has also been an effort to preserve its old small-town charm. From the refurbished , to the the restored , to Olde Avon Village, to the antiques stores that draw people in to shop and browse, we treasure our vintage feel.
3. Good-looking yards. Whether we hire a landscaper or hit the local garden stores like or , Avonites have some lovely landscapes.
4. Play space. Want to get out and play? There are parks all around town with playgrounds for the kids, sports fields, basketball courts and walking trails. Want to play harder? There's the , with an indoor pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, and activities for all ages.
5. Ice cream. Between , , , Country Parlor ice cream at , and, soon, , we apparently love this stuff.
