  1. Who doesn't like to color? Celebrate the new Avon Branch Library and be part of the Coloring Book Contest. Submit your black and white, coloring book style, literary-inspired artwork to be part of a special coloring book. Entries will be accepted through end of June. Winners will be chosen in the following categories: Early Learners, Elementary, Teen, Adult, and the winning artwork will be featured on the front of the Avon Branch Library Coloring book to be released at the new building’s open house.   3. Getting clean! According to an article on Cleveland.com the Ohio’s Cuyahoga Valley National Park will clean up three abandoned oil and gas wells with its share of a $33 million Interior Department investment to plug, remediate and reclaim orphaned oil and gas wells and well sites on federally owned lands. The article states that the money would come from the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act signed into law in November. The bill provides $21 billion to address legacy pollution, including funding to clean up brownfield and superfund sites, reclaim abandoned mine lands and plug orphan oil and gas wells.
