Ford is set to add 1,800 union jobs at its Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake putting the "the pedal to the metal," in its effort to make two million electric vehicles a year, "starting around the middle of the decade." Reportedly, Ford said it is investing $1.5 billion in Ohio, which will lead to the new jobs in Avon Lake, where workers will assemble the brand-new electric commercial vehicles.
