AVON, OH — Avon High School was closed Wednesday after a bomb threat toward the school was discovered.

The school's closure was a precaution, according to Fox 8, because police do not believe the threat is credible. Officers are searching the property with bomb-sniffing dogs.

The threat was emailed to school officials on Wednesday. A person possibly connected to the email is being interviewed by police, Cleveland 19 reported.
