Bomb Threat Made Toward Lorain County Community College

Law enforcement is on campus, according to the college.

ELYRIA, OH — A bomb threat has been made toward Lorain County Community College and students, faculty and visitors have been urged to evacuate the premises.

The college announced the threat at approximately 9:25 a.m. on Tuesday. Law enforcement is on the scene, according to a message shared on the college website.

This is the third bomb threat made against the college since last Thursday, according to Tracy Green, vice president of strategic and institutional development.

"Our number one priority is the safety of our campus. With this third threat, we needed to engage law enforcement personnel and evacuate our campus. Our focus at the moment is securing our campus," she told Patch.
