Statement: I would like to retain my position on the Avon Board of Education. I was appointed to the position in August due to a vacancy and I would like to continue to work for the students of Avon. I want to continue the legacy of "Excellent with Distinction" in our schools. I believe that there is no better gift to our children than a great education and I believe that we can continue to give our children just that at our Avon public schools. 

Why should I be on the Board of Education? I am a mother of three young children and I believe that the young families in Avon need a voice.  I am a small business owner, I have been the president of Avon Early Childhood PTA in 2008 and in 2010, I have served in the Avon PTA and as a room mother. I will put the students' interests first. I am the incumbent board member, I am a mom and I am committed to public education.
