Drugs, Theft and Dog at Large: Police Blotter
The following arrest information was provided by the Avon Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
found a woman asleep in her car parked in the Value Place Hotel parking lot around 12:11 a.m. on Jan. 25.
She was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft
Tires and rims were stolen from Sylvester Truck & Tire in the 38300 block of Chester Road sometime in the overnight hours of Jan. 25. Avon police are investigating.

Baby in Back, Please
Someone called Avon police after seeing a baby sitting on someone’s lap in the front passenger seat of a car on Chester Road. Police were unable to find the car.Â
Doggie Danger
A Joseph Street resident was cited for dog at large after his dog got stuck in a ravine behind Holy Trinity School on Jan. 25 and had to be rescued.
