1. Ohio has a primary election coming up on August 2. Make sure to get out and exercise your right to vote. According to a Cleveland .com article, "the election is Ohio’s second primary election of the year, a byproduct of redistricting since unresolved legal challenges meant state House and Senate district maps weren’t ready when the election was supposed to be held in May." 2. Bendix, which develops safety technologies, energy management solutions and air brake charging and control systems for trucks, trailers, buses and other commercial vehicles throughout North America, has officially taken occupancy of its new 231,000-square-foot office headquarters in Avon, according to REBusinessOnline. Bendix was previously headquartered in Elyria, Ohio. (REBusinessOnline)
3. The winners of the Duck Brand Stuck at Prom scholarship contest have been announced, and according to Fox 8 News Cleveland, Grace Vaughn of Trinity Florida, won the best dress prize and Chidinma Onwuliri of Mississauga, Ontario, took best tux.
