Eagles Football Team Get City-Wide Sendoff
Community lines streets to cheer Eagles as they leave for state championship game
Here we go, Eagles! Here we go!
The city of Avon came out Friday afternoon to see the football team off as the Eagles left for Massillon to play Trotwood-Madison in the OHSAA Division II state football championship.
The caravan of buses for the team and cheerleaders were led by an escort from the Avon police and fire departments. Students from , and , and showed up outside their buildings to cheer the team.
