Canines in Love: Pooch Pawty, Dog Weddings From 1-3 Today

Is your dog in the mood for love? Is your pet ready to make that long term commitment? The festivities for your dog’s most romantic day start at 1 p.m. today at33757 Lake Road in Avon Lake. 

Kissing booth ($10), Valentine’s costume contest, dog weddings, wedding cake, Valentine’s snacks, refreshments and raffles highlight the afternoon. Cost is $8 with all proceeds benefitting Love-a-Stray and FIDO’s Companion. The organizations have teamed up with The Grateful Dog Bakery and D.O.G. Apparel for the event.
