Coleone's 11-11-11 Veterans Day Tribute

The lives of  37 Avon Lake men served in WWI and were celebrated on Memorial Day when a plaque honoring their service was re-dedicated and placed in the circle of honor at Veteran’s Park. A corresponding flag commemorating their service is at the Folger Home in the park awaiting restoration and framing. The Avon Lake Landmark Preservation Society is sponsoring a Veterans Day fundraiser to raise money for the restoration.
