Historical Society Christmas Lunch

The Annual Christmas Luncheon for members of the Historical Society is Moday, Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. in the Gallery Room of the .

This year the event is being catered by . Members are invited to a social time between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. There will be no public meeting on this date , but members will vote on a new slate of officers for the 2012 calendar year after the luncheon.

The next monthly meeting open to the public will be on Monday, Jan. 9. The Historical Society meets on the second Monday of each month at 1 p.m. in the Gallery Room of the Avon Lake Library. Meetings are open to the public and those interested in the history of Avon Lake are always welcome.

There is no cost for members to attend,but members who bring guests must pay $7 per guest. Membership in the Historical Society is $10 a year.
