Michael Heaton To Speak At Avon Lake Kiwanis

Plain Dealer columnist, author and "The Minister of Culture" Michael Heaton was one of the first reporters at Ground Zero after the Sept. 11, 2001 attack. He will be speaking on the events of that week to the Avon Lake Kiwanis Club on Thursday, March 10 at 7:15 p.m. 

This event is open to anyone wanting to find out more about joining the Avon Lake Kiwanis Club. Come join us for a catered dinner ($10) at 6:30 p.m., but please reserve your spot by 6 p.m. on March 11 by emailing Zach Arnold at zarnold@fitzarn.com.

If you want to hear Michael talk, arrive by 7:15 p.m. (talk is free). Books will be available to purchase after. The talk will be in The Gallery.

Avon Lake Kiwanis, with more than 60 men and women from Avon Lake, Avon and Sheffield, is an active community group of volunteers. Our members are age early 20s on up and the group is a sponsor of the ALHS Key Club, which counts more than 100 members.
