Family Fun and a Christmas Message

Children got a little Christmas lesson mixed in with holiday fun and treats at Family Christmas on Saturday.

There were games, crafts, face-painting and family portraits. Then, guests went into the worship area for a Christmas carol sing-along. called the children up to the stage and spoke with them about how God is watching over them all the time, a lot like the Elf on the Shelf. He added that God loved us so much, he wanted to be with us, which is why he sent his son down to Earth.

After the talk with the children, everyone went back out into the lobby for a feast of Christmas treats including hot cocoa, cookies and cupcakes.
