Football practice was held at the stadium at , as temperatures climbed into the 80s. Assistant coaches and parent volunteers kept the water coming so the players stayed hydrated and readied ice baths in case of cramping.
The players were put through their paces, doing drills for everything from blocking to receiving to kicking and punting plays.
