Gas Pipeline Work Starts July 19 In Avon

AVON, OH — Columbia Gas crews will be doing construction near Holy Trinity School on Nagel Road in Avon.

Workers with Columbia Gas and its contractor Submar will be installing a cover to protect an exposed pipeline and prevent further erosion in the area. Work will take place in the woods behind Holy Trinity School, near the Heider Ditch.

Construction will start July 19 and should last approximately one week.

Residents in the area may notice equipment and vehicles, but the project does not require any digging on properties or disruption to gas service, a Columbia Gas spokesperson told Patch.
