Help Your Business Boom With Free Avon Patch Listing

Reach the community in a whole new way. Did I mention that it's free?

Local businesses do a lot in and for Avon.

So here's something for them: a free web page and an opportunity to reach more customers.

When Avon Patch launched in December of 2010, editors and contributors went out into the community and got information on Avon businesses, organizations, houses of worship, government offices, restaurants, shops, you name it. The result? Patch Places.

Patch Places is where you can find out about area businesses complete with address, description, phone number, accepted payment methods, hours and customer reviews.

Each listing is a web page and a way for the community to find out more about an Avon business. If you are a business owner, that page is yours and you can claim it. For free!

It's easy-peasy, as the video shows. Just go to the listing and click the "Claim it!" button. Fill in the information, and someone from Patch will be in touch with you to verify your identity and get you started on managing your listing.

There are loads of advantages to managing your listing.

Your Avon Patch page is also an awesome marketing tool. People find your business on Avon Patch when they search for you online.

Claiming your page allows you to add photos, update and expand information, check ratings and reviews, and see how many people are following your listing.

You can email customers to add reviews, and post your Patch page on social media like Facebook and Twitter.

You don't have to be a business to claim your listing. Churches, schools, non-profits, goverment agencies can all claim their listings for free as well.

From there, you can go on to paid tools like video profiles, a message from the owner, or becoming a featured business on the Patch Places page.
