'Ivan' Survives Amputation, Abandonment and is Ready For Home

This orange cutie needs a place to call home

Ivan may be missing a leg, but he's not missing any heart.

The young orange cat, who had been hanging around a construction site in Avon earlier this year, returned to the site after several weeks away with a gravely injured right front leg. One of the construction workers called Avon's , who brought Ivan to Love-A-Stray's Avon shelter.

Love-A-Stray got Ivan to an area veterinarian, who amputated Ivan's injured leg. Love-A-Stray picked up the cost of the surgery.

Ivan has fully recovered from his surgery and is ready for adoption.
