Jason Taylor Drives in Game-Winning Run for Crushers in 13th Inning
Crushers win fourth straight

Jason Taylor smacked a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the 13th inning to lift the to their fourth straight win, 2-1, over the Gatway Grizzlies Friday night in front of a crowd of 4,040 fans at .
The Crushers (17-22) also completed a series sweep of the Grizzlies (15-24), who have lost eight of their last nine games.
According to a report from the team, Joel Collins started off the bottom of the 13th with a fly ball that was dropped by Grizzlies outfielder Brandon Peters. Collins got to second on the play, and was replaced by pinch-runner Adam Gliebe. Nick Mahin's sacrifice bunt moved Gliebe over to third, and Kellen Kulbacki was intentionally walked to put runners at the corners with one out.

Taylor then ripped a 3-2 pitch by Chris Enourato into deep right center field to bring home Gliebe for the win.
Four Crushers pitchers combined to hold the Grizzlies in check. Starter Josh Roberts went eight innings, giving up a run in the top of the second and five hits, while striking out five and walking one. Travis Risser (2-4) pitched the final two innings, giving up no hits or walks, to get the win.

Jodam Rivera had two singles for the Crushers.
The Crushers open up a three-game series against the River City Rascals at 7:05 p.m. Saturday at All Pro Freight Stadium.  Jairo Cuevas (0-2, 5.79 earned run average) is slated to start for the Crushers.
