According to the Avon Lake Park and Recreation Department, "Yoga Nidra is a powerful technique for controlling your body's relaxation response. Cultivate conscious relaxation, ease ongoing stress and anxiety, and feel your body melt away into a soothing state of being. Sound Healing will be offered to support the relaxation response. Yoga Nidra will be offered Thursday, September 15th from 4:30 - 5:45 p.m. at the Old Firehouse Community Center. The cost is $30 (resident or non-resident) and the instructor is Maria Perme.
