Josh Roberts Gets Win as Lake Erie Crushers Score Sweep
Crushers return home winning five of last six games

Josh Roberts earned his eighth win of the season as the beat the Florence Freedom, 4-2, Thursday night in Florence, Ky., to sweep the three-game series.
Roberts (8-4, 3.87 earned run average) pitched 7 1/3 innings, giving up two runs on 10 hits while striking out three and walking none, according to the official box score.
Down 2-0 in the fourth, the Crushers started a comeback. Jodam Rivera drove home Jason Taylor from second with a single to get the Crushers on the scoreboard.

The Crushers tied the game when Taylor, who had doubled, came home on an RBI double by Kellen Kulbacki. They took the lead on an RBI triple by Patrick Norris, and got an insurance run when Norris then scored on an error.
Taylor had three hits to lead the Crushers. Andrew Davis did not reach base in the game, ending his 38-game on-base streak. That streak was the longest in the Frontier League this season.

The Crushers (33-35) return home to Friday to open up a three-game series against the Evansville Otters. Paul Fagan (4-9, 4.43) is set to start for the Crushers.
