Josh Roberts, Ruben Flores Team Up to Pitch Shutout in Crushers' Win
Crushers win second straight

Josh Roberts and Ruben Flores combined to pitch a seven-hit shutout as the won their second straight, 2-0, over the Rockford RiverHawks in front of a crowd of 2,743 at on Tuesday night.
Roberts pitched eight innings to get the win, giving up six hits while striking out five and walking two, according to a report from the team. He improved to 6-3 on the season.
Jodam Rivera homered for the Crushers (24-28), extending his on-base streak to 19 games, and Andrew Davis had an RBI double. Davis has reached base in 23 straight games.

The Crushers and RiverHawks play the final game of the series at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday, Super Splash Day at the stadium. Paul Fagan (3-7, 4.04 earned run average) will start for the Crushers.
