Lorain County JVS announced its honor roll for the first marking period and more than a dozen Avon students are on it.
To qualify for the honor roll, students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the marking period.

Hannah Bissett, Ashley Bring, Daniel DiFilippo, Marisa Goodman, Jeremy Killeen, Lakesha Ladson, Michael Leboda, Joshua Leighty, Zachary Leighty, Katelynn Murphy, David Poljak, George Tesmer, Adrienne VanHouten, Gregory Villanueva and Matthew Villanueva.
