🌱K-9 Park Opening + Little League Needs Volunteers+Last Summer Flick

First, today's weather:

Here are the top three stories today in Avon-Avon Lake:

1. Don't forget! the Opening Celebration of the Canning Family K-9 Park, located in Veterans Memorial Park will be taking place on Sunday, July 31 at 4:30 p.m.! Maria's Ice Cream Wagon will be on hand. Treats for people and pets will be available for purchase. Hope to see you there!(City of Avon via Facebook)
2. The last movie of the summer, put on by the Avon Parks and Recreation Department, will be held on August 5. The Friday Night Flick is "Clifford The Big Red Dog.” Hot Dog Heaven and Handel's Ice Cream will be available for purchase from 6-8 p.m. The movie starts at dusk and will be held at Every Child's Playground Green Space, next to the Avon Aquatic Facility. 3. Do you love baseball? What about Little League? Could you squeeze in some community volunteering time? Avon Little League is looking for additional managers for their Fall Baseball Minors and Majors leagues this season. According to a Facebook post, it needs two managers for each division. Please reach out to Sam at littleleaguer16@yahoo.com if interested. If the league cannot find some more volunteers to coach it may have to have rosters of 14-15 players, which means less playing time for everyone. So if you can help out it would be greatly appreciated! (Avon Ohio Little League)
