According to a report from the team, Joliet pitcher Andrew Moss walked Jason Taylor, Jodam Rivera, and Robby Kuzdale to load the bases with one out in the fourth inning. Kyle Shaffer then smacked a two-run single to cut Joliet's lead to 4-2.

Moss then walked Zach Messer to get the bases loaded again before getting yanked. Patrick Norris then reached on a fielder's choice to score Kuzdale.
The Crushers got two runs in the fifth when Taylor doubled to bring home Andrew Davis with the tying run.Rivera's groundout scored Kellen Kulbacki with what proved to be the winning run.

Paul Daniels (3-1, 2.30 earned run average) pitched 2 2/3 innings of relief to get the win.
