Kyle Shaffer went 4-for-4, driving in the game-winning and insurance runs to lead the over the Washington Wild Things, 5-3, Friday night in Washington, Pa., in the first game after the .
Shaffer hit a single to drive in Nick Mahin in the fourth to put the Crushers up, 4-3, according to a report from the team. He hit another RBI single in their eighth, driving in Jereme Milons.
Patrick Norris had two hits and an RBI for the Crushers (22-26).

After giving up a three-run homer to Estee Harris in the bottom of the first, Crushers pitcher Josh Roberts (5-3, 3.88 earned run average) settled down. He retired the next seven batters he faced and pitched seven innings, giving up four hits on the night.
The two teams play at 6:35 p.m. Saturday. (3-6, 4.31) is slated to start.
