Lake Road To Be Temporarily Closed During Day
A waterline replacement project will require daytime closures of part of Lake Road. Construction will start Monday.
AVON LAKE, OH — Starting Monday, part of Lake Road will be closed to thru-traffic during the day.
Lake will be closed between Moore Road and Curtis Drive from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, for approximately two weeks. Avon Lake Regional Water crews will be replacing waterlines on Lake Road at Parkland Drive, Rosewood Drive and Edgewood Drive.
Detour signs will be posted in the area. The current planned detour for impacted traffic will be Moore Road to Electric Boulevard to Curtis Drive, or the reverse. Avon Lake Police Department will have officers in the area to direct traffic.

Avon Lake Police asked drivers to avoid the area, if possible.
"We thank you for your patience during this replacement work," Avon Lake Regional Water said on Facebook.
