Memories, Photos Of Avon Lake Power Plant Wanted
The Avon Lake Power Plant has been operating for nearly 100 years and the city wants to celebrate.

AVON LAKE, OH — If you have memories or photos of the Avon Lake Power Plant, the city wants you to share them.
The Avon Lake Power Plant is scheduled to stop operations this month, ending nearly 100 years of operation. To commemorate its history, the city wants to assemble a video of residents sharing their stories about the power plant.
"We are looking for folks who explored the tunnels under the power plant as a kid OR had a relative who worked for the plant OR used the smoke stacks to provide a landmark in a storm OR had any other memorial experience with the power plant to share their stories and photos," the city said in a statement.

Esborn's presentation will be free to the public.
