Mercy Hires New Developer for Avon Facility

Almost a year after with Landmark Healthcare Facilities, Mercy has signed on with Frauenshuh HealthCare Real Estate Solutions to be the developer of its planned Avon facility.

When Mercy ended things with Landmark in January 2011, a statement from Mercy said it planned to have a new developer in place the following month and that the facility would complete the project in the summer of 2012.

A new timeline for the project was still being worked on, a release from Mercy said Tuesday.

The 33-acre site will feature an 82,000 square-foot building that will hold exam rooms, office space, an ambulatory surgery center and imaging center.
