Milan Taborac, Sold Charle's Chips Door to Door
Taborac was former boiler operator for Chrysler, Charle's Chips salesman.

Milan Taborac, 91, of Avon Lake and formerly of Sheffield Township passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake surrounded by his family. He was born March 21, 1921 in Lorain, the son of the late John and Katherine (nee Rukavina).
Milan was employed as a boiler operator for Chrysler in Sandusky before retiring. He was well known back in the day with selling Charle's Chips door to door. Milan was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, Elyria where he was part of the Friday night Bingo team. When his children were younger he was active at the Lorain YMCA especially getting them involved in swimming. He enjoyed fishing, playing the lottery and line dancing. One of his joys and passions was working in his vegetable garden and raising beautiful flowers. He was also dedicated to the well being of his loving family.
Mr. Taborac is survived by his wife of 62 years, Josephine (nee Czak); three daughters, Rosemary Taborac of Wellington, Leslie Taborac of Avon Lake and Sharon Kearney (Terry) of Shepherdsville, KY; two grandsons, Aaron (Lauren) and Brian Kearney and a sister, Mary Varak of Chicago, IL.
Friends may call at the , 163 Avon-Belden Road, Avon Lake from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. -9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, with a Rosary Service at 3 p.m.
Prayer services will be held at the funeral home 9:15 a.m Thursday, Aug. 2 followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Vincent De Paul Church, 41295 North Ridge Road, Elyria at 10:00am. Rev. Donald H. Dunson will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
