Moms Talk: Giving and Getting Advice

From the time you announce you're expecting through the day you send your bundle of joy off to college, someone has advice for you.

Sometimes, it's the welcome wisdom of a trusted friend. Other times, it's Aunt Esther telling you to to stop worrying about a bike helmet, kids for generations did fine without them. Or it's someone preaching the gospel according to Popular Parenting Expert du Jour.

Let's talk advice. Share the best -- and worst -- advice you got when it came to pregnancy, childbirth or parenting. Was there someone you wished would just put a sock in it?
