Multiple Underage Parties Broken Up By Avon Lake Police: Blotter
Avon Lake police had a busy start to July, breaking up parties, investigating stolen vehicles, and more.
AVON LAKE, OH — The weeks leading up to July 4th saw multiple underage parties broken up by police, stolen vehicles, and a man running in and out of traffic.

Liquor offense, June 23 — A party filled with underage drinkers was broken up by police. The host of the party was cited for disorderly conduct and allowing underage consumption, police said.

Traffic complaint, June 26 — An intoxicated driver was stopped by police after he was seen driving in the bike lane on Lake Road.
Liquor offense, June 30 — Callers reported seeing someone vomiting near the dumpsters at Erieview School. Officers investigated and found a car full of juveniles, which led them to an underage drinking party, police said. The party was broken up and attendees were picked up by their parents.

Stolen vehicle, June 30 — A trailer and Bobcat skid steer were stolen from the parking lot at Beachpark Station.
Disorderly conduct, July 1 — A car was stuck in the mud off of Avondale Road. The owner was contacted by police and the car was removed.
Liquor offense, July 1 — A man was seen running into traffic on Lear Road, police said. When officers located the man, they found he had an open container of Four Loko in his pocket and a warrant for his arrest through Lagrange Police. The man was taken into custody and transferred to Lagrange officers, police said.
Fireworks complaint, July 4 — A person on Berkshire Road was cited for setting off fireworks.
Traffic complaint, July 4 — When police stopped a car on Moore Road, they found the driver had no license, an expired registration, and no car insurance, according to police reports.
