New Avon High Principal, Middle School Levy on School Board Agenda

It's a busy night for the Avon Board of Education, as two big items are on the agenda for Tuesday's meeting at 6:30 p.m. at .

The board will vote on offering a two-year contract to Kristina Dobos-Buller to become the new principal at Avon High School. She would replace Dr. Chad Coffman, who to become principal at Parma High School.

Dobos-Buller has been assistant principal at Avon High since 1998.

The board will also vote on placing a $32 million levy on the November ballot for . The deadline for submitting a levy to the Lorain County Board of Elections for the Nov. 8 election is August 10.
