1. It's going to be a SUPER night on Saturday, May 28 for ‘Super Hero Night,’ which will feature a bevy of costumed crusaders at the home of Lake Erie Crushers. Bring the whole family!Donate items for homeless veterans. Gates open at 5 p.m., the game starts at 6 p.m. Donations for homeless veterans will be collected. Suggested items include sweatpants with no strings, hoodies with no strings, shower shoes, backpacks, slippers and reading glasses. (Facebook)
2. Looking to buy a home? Why not look in person at an open house? For all the future homeowners in the Avon-Avon Lake area, Patch has listed the four newest homes to hit the market, with information included on the next scheduled open house. 3. After two years of drive-through ceremonies, things are getting back to normal with an in-person Memorial Day Parade in Avon Lake. The Parade is set to step off at 10 a.m. on Monday morning from the Avon Lake High School, at 175 Avon Belden Road. It will end at the Veterans Memorial Park, 32756 Lake Road. Hope to see you there!
