Police Blotter: Attempted Car Break-In, Missing Woman Found
The following arrest information was supplied by the Avon police department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A resident in the 1500 block of Rosewood Blvd. saw someone trying to break into her car with a slimjim device in the overnight hours of July 10. She hit the alarm button on her key fob and the person fled.
Not Missing Anymore
A woman who had been on a missing persons list in California was found living in Avon after she called police on July 9, to complain about a solicitor at her Wetherhill Court home.
The solicitor, one of a group in the neighborhood collecting signatures, was told to stop until the group could provide a solicitation permit.
