Police Blotter: Fear the Reaper

An Avon teen may have gotten a bit too realistic with his Halloween costume.Â
Someone in the North Doovys called around 6:17 p.m. Monday, during trick-or-treating time in town, that a boy about 14 years old, wearing a dark sweatshirt and jeans, was walking along the road carrying a real scythe.
Police talked with the boy, who took the scythe home.
