Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. So get out, vote and get one of those cute "I voted!" stickers!

Here are some of the key items voters in Avon will be casting the ballots on:

  • The Republican presidential primary. Choices are Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum.

  • Issue 12, a 10-year, $2.5 million combination of two expiring operating levies for .
