REMINDER: Come Plant in the Prayers From Maria Sunflower Field this Sunday
Plans have been approved for a construct a temporary observation deck, sunflower deck and shed.
AVON, Ohio — The corner of Jaycox and Chester roads will again be the site for planting the sunflower field. Planting for the sunflower field will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 26th
Several improvements have been made to the field this year, plans to build an observation deck, sunflower deck and shed at the Prayers From Maria Sunflower Field have been approved by Avon's Planning Commission according to cleveland.com.
The field should be in full bloom by September, just in time for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Local farmer, John Betzel will plant any seeds left over from the public planting. Seeds provided by The Jacobs Group.
